Recently, with the support of Chongqing Science and Technology Project, the Research Center of Integrated Photoelectric Technology of Chongqing Green Intelligent Technology Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences has made important progress in the application research of UV-LED free-form surface lighting technology. The UV-LED light source has been successfully used in the field of exposure machine. The products have been applied in PCB, LCD panel, touch screen and other industries. Relevant achievements have been authorized by the national patent (patent number: lens for ultraviolet LED collimation 201320875490.0, high uniformity ultraviolet LED exposure head 201420651432.4).

The traditional parallel light exposure machine uses high-pressure mercury lamp as light source. Its life is only 1000 hours, high power consumption and pollution. Replacing mercury lamp source with UV LED, the life of mercury lamp can reach 50 times, the power consumption can be reduced by 90%, the production cost of enterprises can be greatly reduced, environmental protection and pollution-free.

At present, Chongqing Research Institute has broken through the key technologies such as precise light distribution of multi-free-form surface of LED and processing of inorganic optical elements suitable for ultraviolet band. For the first time, a parallel light exposure head based on ultraviolet LED has been developed. The parallel half-angle can be controlled within [2], the illumination unevenness is less than 3%, and the illumination intensity is as high as 40mW/cm2.
